future
ZIMONA has a plan.
We’ve been carbon neutral and 100% recyclable since 2020.
By 2025, We reduce our usage of artificial dyes & chemicals, And we will commit to making it from the extraction of the plant essence.
In line with our commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness, we have set a goal to reduce our usage of artificial dyes and chemicals for batik making by 75% in 2025. Instead, we will be using plant essence extracted from natural sources to create the vibrant and intricate designs of our batik products.
This shift towards natural dyeing techniques will not only reduce the negative impact of harmful chemicals on the environment, but it will also promote the use of traditional and artisanal methods of batik making, preserving the cultural heritage and history of this ancient craft.
Our commitment to using natural dyes will involve sourcing plant-based materials from local communities and carefully extracting their essence through sustainable and ethical practices. We will work closely with farmers, suppliers, and artisans to ensure that our production process is socially responsible and environmentally sustainable.
We believe that our decision to shift towards natural dyeing techniques is not only a step towards reducing our ecological footprint but also a reflection of our values and our commitment to preserving the beauty of SriLankan culture and heritage for generations to come.
In summary, our commitment to reducing our usage of artificial dyes and chemicals by 75% in 2025 and transitioning to plant essences is a significant step towards a more sustainable and healthy future. We look forward to working with our suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to make this vision a realit.
